Some points to consider for Writing task 1.
# While writing task 1 try to signpost language which
includes following expressions

# keep a strict eye on the kind of tense you are going to
use.
# if the time or any point is the past then use past tense
like for july 1993 use past tense.
# if the task has projections for feature such as year 2050
use future tense.
# if there is no time mentioned use present tense .
# Do not write everything you see, only report to the main
feature.
# Do not copy same words from the question, use different
expressions.
# Do not use informal language, abbreviation, short forms or
slangs.
# Try to use approximation in case you are not sure about
the exact figure , this makes your essay impressive.
Sample of IELTS Task 1
An overview paragraph is simply a summary of the main points a graph, chart, map or process. It is normally written in two or three sentences and should be written in a second paragraph of your task 1.Consider a pie chart illustrating the distribution of production of cloth in four countries.
Paraphrase the question carefully.
The given paragraph reveals the information about the manufacturing of textile in four nations.
Overview
The Pie chart comprised of four regions in total with South Africa making up the vast majority of production among all nations. After South Africa, Vietnam is the second biggest producer of cloth but Japan and Indonesia covers small but equal proportion.
In the body paragraphs we need to describe the proportions of these countries regarding production.
